Since they are both quite similar Animes and I don't wanna spam the forum with loads of threads, I thought i'd put these two great Anime in to one thread.

Myself, i'm currently only up to episode 98 of Naruto, but on the Latest of Bleach which is 129.

Now, i'll give a basic summary of my favourites of each Anime.

Bleach:

Favourite Character: Hitsugaya Toshirou
Favourite Bankai: Zanketsuken
Favourite Episode: I can't remember the number, and I can't be bothered to sift through all my episodes but it's the one where Ichigo has a wing on one arm and the wierd cape thing on. He flies down and saves Rukia.

Naruto:

Favourite Characer: Uzumaki Naruto (Who cares, I think he's funny as hell!)
Favourite Ninjitsu: Definately Rasengan!
Favourite Episode: I haven't seen them all, but so far the recent ones have had me in stiches.

Anyways, what about you guys?

Well i've only spent a little bit of time watching both series and I can say that i liked Bleach more. Naruto was toooooo long just like DragonBall. Also, Ichigo has got to be one of the most awesome anime names of all time LOL.

Haha, yeah Ichigo is my second favourite character, even if he can be a bit of an emo.

Naruto is a nice change from Bleach and since i'm on the latest Bleach, watching both is awesome.

Hello, Bleach has some of the best fighting scenes I have seen in an anime, I really enjoyed the fight between Ichigo and Kenpachi, that guys crazy.

I've been reading the Naruto manga, and the newer ones are getting alot better, now that naruto is able to do more then just yell. There are these guys who have made a parady of Naruto which is really funny, you can check it out at (I think its ok to post a link to it, so I will):

I have only watched them on the cartoon network so far. But I like both fairly equally. I don't think either show on that channel is as far as you all have watched but it's great to know there is much more ahead of me.

I don't watch Naruto in English - it fucking sucks. Instead I download it in Japanese with subtitles.

For me, the substitles distract me from what's going on. Hard to read all the words and keep track of the visual sometimes. I know they cut some things out in some animes when they go from Japanese to English, but that is the price I pay I guess.

Yeah, mostly the voice acting sucks too. Apart from in GITS that's awesome. Also, FUNImation did an amazing job with FMA.

The new Voice Actors for DBZ are supposidly very good. DBZ in 9.1 Surround will be very nice. (sorry about off-topic)

hmm...for naruto manga, i like Hinata, yeah thats girl with byakugan...i think she is so cool..^.^

I've seen every episode uptodate and i can say Naruto is great but at a low point at the moment so bleach is definetly winning.

I think it's the other way round mate. Bleach is only just started to stop fillers and Naruto is well in to the storyline. My friend told me what happens as he reads the manga and.... omfg.

Faved ninjutsu - Rasengan shuriken, a mixture of wind element chakra and the rasengan, started by 4th hokage, finished by Uzumaki Naruto

Anyone up to date with Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach?

i couldnt really get into Naruto, but bleach i watched the entire first one hundred episodes last christmas week to catch up so that i could keep up with DB... Bleach is awsome, but they are going into filler episodes again and that pisses me off...:sad:

I love both of these animes. I saw them first in english then found them on line and could not stop watching.

Naruto is my favorite character but you gotta give props to Hinata she is just awesome. O and don't forget Garra.

In bleach of course my favorite is Ichigo, Why, His BANKAI is insane. I want a sword that does that.

i have seen one episode of naruto, which was good, no episode of bleach... so i cant really which is better

I dont really watch bleach so i dont really know it. I watch naruto and the best char in there by far is Rock Lee. He is just to funny when the time is right.

I looked Bleach and Naruto, but best is Bleach, it seems that Naruto has less interesting and very much very much delayed (220 - 1 season and 2 season >46) plot. My favourite characters Bleach is Hichigo, Matsumoto Ranguky, Kenpachi, Grimmjow and Ulkiorra

i think someone posted awhile ago that the 4th hokage is narutos father?...i think thats wrong. (i could be wrong..but..i think that person was wrong)

also naruto has slowed way down. and is a pain in the ass to watch.....the subs r bad...so i generally just wait for my friend to help me figure it out. (he speaks chinese AND japanese very well) im on the last episode out..and i watch them the hour they come out.

bleach is awesome. the site i was using to stream them went down for stealing it or something..i dont know...so now its very hard...i wish i knew a good site..but..oh well...the furthest ive gotten is right as ichigo starts the fight with rukia's brother....*sigh..right at the good parts

Favorite ability : Black Tetsuga Tenshou
Favorite Episode : Shirosaki vs Byakuya *Ichigo is in shit and shirosaki came to save the day *sort of XD*

Naruto

Favorite character : Itachi
Favorite ability : Magyekou Sharingan *The one of Itachi to make someone live his worst nightmare *sort of*
Favorite episode : Gaara vs Lee made me fall in love with Naruto. Wonderfull fight and we can see some great move and powerfull one for the first time

NARUTO AND BLEACH FTW! lol i have almost finished bleach but still have to watch some naruto

Naruto Shppuden is the best. So far, their on the episode where they find sasuke, same thing that was showed in the first episode.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of both, they are really the only 2 anime I'm keeping up to date with. I was out of town for a week so I have Naruto Shippuuden 50-51-52 waiting for me, as well as Bleach 164-165. Looking forward to watching them.

Naruto has began to grow on me but it took a while and i like the shippuden episodes much better than the earlier ones

I haven't watched Bleach yet and I'm not really liking the Naruto characters as much as I used to. I've always hated both Naruto and Sasuke. I used to like Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Neji but they have gotten lame (and *spoilers* Jiraiya is dead). I pretty much just read the manga once a week now just to keep up with the story.

Well an update on Bleach!
Bleach is now going on a new arch for the moment, centered around a new character in soul society. This is to give the writers of the magna time to go further with the storyline so for those of you who are up to the current episode like me have to wait a while to return to our favorite man Ichigo and see if he can save the rest of the crew... :sad:

I think if you ignore the filler in Naruto its a better series but its equaled with Bleach if you dont.

Just a question, sorry if it's already discussed but is the rasengen a Ninjutsu or something else? It has no hand signs it's more of an advanced offensive Chakra control exercise

They both own the world of Anime and Manga. My favorite in Naruto would be the 1 and only emo himself, Sasuke. Then in Bleach it would be tha big man Chad.

You need to see the most recent episodes straight from japan... so much farther than the dubbed ones. (Although the current fillers in Bleach a pretty weak, though the ones in Naruto are ok I guess...)

Well I'm more of a Bleach guy. Ichigo is the best, and a little bad ass man.

I've read all the Naruto Manga, it's pretty good.

I always thought bleach was better than Naruto.

Itachi is the best anime character I have ever seen, hands down.

From bleach, I would say yoruichi is my fave :P

I've Really liked Bleach more than Naruto, maybe it's just the fact that everyone is obsessed with Naruto now, but it's still pretty good!

if you are looking for anime downloads go to BleachExile.com they have all sorts of anime, bleach and naruto included, plus they have tons of manga. on a side note if you are impatient with the anime the manga has the story, if not just ignore those two but they still have a lot of good ones.

Well I've been a fan of Both Bleach and Naruto for 4 years now and as time moved on Bleach was becoming much better than Naruto. I mean with the year of fillers for Naruto it was just horrible but with bleach they have a winning formula. Stick to one basic plot for a filler arc. It worked for me funnily enough.

Right now it is Naruto, but it goes back and forth.

Hitsugaya Toshirou

I like them both but, I would have to choose Bleach just because it has more dark feel to it before Naruto come out with second series.

I find it interesting that someone would say Bleach is better because Naruto is too long. While Naruto may have more seasons at least the plot advances in Naruto, In Bleach it seem like it took 100 episodes just to rescue Rukia...

I'm not big on Naruto, but I can (vaguely) see the possible draw of it. I'm a huge fan of Bleach even though I'll often stop while watching it and ask myself why I like it. It's stuffed full of cliches and the fights are rarely satisfying. Still, I adore it.

My favorite character is Uryū Ishida because he reminds me of myself: geeky, a bit effeminate, stylish, not at strong as others but fast, easily falling for women, and in a world where everyone goes on about how badass their swords are, he comes to the fight with a motherfucking bow!

My favorite episode is 132: Hitsugaya, Karin and Soccer Ball.

Bleach manga became an eternal boredom for me with all aizen stuff...Naruto's manga going in the same path nowadays.One Piece is the only manga that can keep my attention on so far.At least its funny.
