I decided to make this basic FAQ/Guide for those people who don't know where to download anime from.

What is Anime?

If you don't know that, you're on the wrong site.

Where can I get × Anime from?

Most of the time, any Anime can be accessed via torrents. Torrents can or cannot be fast but finding a direct download site can be tricky and/or expensive.

So, where do I get this torrents thing?

You can use a torrent manager such as µTorrent. The download link can be found here (http://www.utorrent.com). After you've downloaded it simply go to any torrent web site such as Torrentz.com (http://www.torrentz.com) and type in what you want to find. This isn't limited to just Anime either, you can find Music, DVDs and even Games.

Be warned, downloading these things are ILLEGAL and if you get caught with all of this material on your computer you can get fined and even arrested! Don't worry too much though! Tons of people download this stuff all the time, there's a very, very low chance you'll get caught!

My download is slow, what can I do to make it faster?

There are many reason why you're download is slow. There could be low seeders or leechers and / or you have a slow internet connection. You could even have problems connecting through the torrent manager properly. If you downloaded µTorrent it comes with an easy setup feature which helps you to get the best connection possible.

To do this you may need to allow it full access through your firewall or router. This can be done by typing “192.168.0.1” in the URL box instead of http://www.google.com. If that doesn’t work you could try www.routerlogin.com.

For those of you who don't know where the URL box is located, I included a screenshot below for your conveniance.

The default username and password is usually:

Username: Admin
Password: password

Afterwards just find the section marker port forwarding or program access or similar and add the port that you are using for your torrent program.

Adding the program to a firewall is a lot simpler. For Windows firewall just simply go in to “Add a Program” and then find the program and add it. Simple! Other Firewall programs may have it as simple as this, but make sure you unblock access to the program and allow it to receive incoming connections.

I managed to download my Anime, but I cannot play it! Please help!

Okay, the easiest thing to do is to download the K-lite mega codec pack. This will play ANY video type that you manage to download. The K-Lite pack can be found here (http://www.free-codecs.com/) and you may need WinRAR to open it up. This can be found here (http://www.rarlabs.com).

----------------

I will update this as necessary and I hope you find it useful.

For good results in playing any video file, just use Videolan Center.

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (This thing/)

Will work, guaranteed, or your money back. In case of the trial version, anyway. ;)
