Chapter 3, Have fun:
Two months passed since that fateful night at Sara’s place and spring had just barely started. She was as happy as she ever was. Her relationship had finally reached a point she once thought impossible. She thought that no man could love a dickgirl. But, Jonathan proved her wrong. Not only was he in love with her, but also had sex on his birthday. Ever since then, they where always seen together at every opportunity possible. They always had lunch together and frequently went out together to see a movie, eat at a restaurant, and so forth. Life was great!
It was Monday afternoon and Sara was comfortably resting at her apartment. She took the whole week off after lots of work. She was glad that her boss agreed to give her the time she requested. She was hoping that Jonathan would also take the week off and be with her, but since he was a supervisor, he could not. However, her boss agreed to give him Thursday and Friday off. “I guess it was better than nothing!” she said to herself while lying in bed.
It was a boring day for her. She had no laundry to do, no cleaning and there was nothing good on TV. On top of that, she did not even want to go shopping. Basically, she just wanted to stay inside her apartment all day. She then closed her eyes and began to think about what to do with Jonathan when he would be off two days from now.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang! She quickly got up and proceeded towards the door. “Who could be coming to see me at this time of day” she asked herself. When she arrived at the door, she took a look through the little eye. All she could see was a young girl about her age, waiting for her to answer the door. She could not see her face very well, but it seemed like for some reason, she knew her from way back. She slowly opened the front door and took a good look at the girl’s face.
The girl was about two inches smaller than her. She had long blond hair, green eyes and an earring on the right side of her nose. She was probably about 150 pounds and looked about two years older than her (she was now 27). There was a big suitcase lying on the ground next to her. Sara took a good look at her again… She looked even more familiar face to face. After a while, she remembered who the girl was.
-“Sophia? Sophia, is that really you?” Sara said with excitement.
-“Long time, no see, Sara!” the girl said.
They hugged each other like friends that had not seen each other in years. And it was the case. Sophia was her best friend when they where both in college years ago. They where always going out together during their free time. They never keep any secrets from each other. Sophia was like the sister she never had. They where inseparable… Or so it was until Sophia had to move to Florida because of her father’s job. Sophia wanted to stay so bad, but she had no job and no money to go on her own. Sara still remembered that day when she went to the airport to see the departure of her best friend. It was a very sad day for both of them. They lost contact all this time, until today.
-“I can’t believe you came back after all this time!”
-“I’ve been trying for so long to at least visit you, but I never got the chance. Until now, that is! I’m on vacation at this time and I choose to spend a week here so I could see you. How many years has it been?”
-“Too long, Sophia! Way to long! Where are my manners? Don’t stay outside, it’s cold today! Come in! Come in!”
“Don’t mind if I do!” Sophia said as she got in the apartment while Sara closed the door behind her. While she gave her friend a hangar so she could hang her coat, she noticed that she was wearing a nice pair of black jeans and a small black t-shirt. The t-shirt was small enough that she noticed her friend still had a pierce bellybutton. Once the coat was put away, they both went to the kitchen.
-“Do you want anything to drink?” Sara asked while her friend sat down on one of the chairs.
-“Some 7up, if you have any!” Sophia answered.
-“You’re in luck! I got one can left! I see that you still like to drink that!” said Sara while she opened the can and pour the drink in a glass.
-“Could you put some ice in it also, please!”
-“No problem!”
She took some ice out of the freezer and put it in the filled up glass. She then went towards the kitchen table, gave Sophia her drink and sat down.
-“I’m sorry for not calling you or coming to see you at least once since I had to leave. I missed you a lot.” Sophia said.
-“It’s ok! I understand! Forget about that; tell me instead what you’ve been doing all these years!”
-“Well, I’ll be honest with you, at first, I really hated living there. But, after a while, it wasn’t so bad. Eventually, I began to like it and it became my new home. I went to finish college at a well know school and then, I went to university. I got my diploma and I began working almost two weeks later. I’m a dentist now, Sara. Just like I always wanted to be.”
-“That’s great! You live on your own, now?”
-“Of course! I bought a lovely house close to the beach. The view is just wonderful. I’m not far from my work either.”
-“Are you married?”
-“No! I… I haven’t had a boyfriend in years. You know how shy I get around boys, right?”
Sara remembered all too well! Every time she would try to set a date for her friend and a guy, it never worked. Sophia was just too shy… And after all these years, things hadn’t changed.
-“Sorry to hear that! You know, you should stop being so nervous around guys!”
-“I know, I know! Could we change the subject for now?”
-“Sure! How are your parents?”
-“They’re doing just fine. Dad retired about a year ago and mom did the same just last month. We talk to each other every day.”
-“What else? Anything exciting happened?”
-“Other than what I told you already, not really. Oh, wait! There was that time when we almost got hit by a tornado. I was still living with my parents back then. The weather that day was just terrible.”
-“That’s it?”
-“That’s it! It’s been pretty much a normal life. But, enough about me, tell me what happened to you since I left for Florida!”
Sara told her friend all that happened since then. She told her that she graduated, that she had a job at a local newspaper before being laid off; that she got another job at another local newspaper and that she finally met the man of her dreams and that they have a solid relationship together. The only thing she did not tell Sophia was the operation that she had to add a dick to her anatomy. They where never any secrets between them, but this was one thing that she was not ready to tell, yet. And she felt bad about it. They talked about old times for about two hours and a half, sometimes laughing like crazy. Then, Sophia looked at her watch…
-“I think I should go!”
-“Go? But, you just got here!”
